In September, the Citizenship By Investment Unit (CIU) sponsored the second Diaspora Conference in St. Kitts and Nevis, themed “The Diaspora and Our Culture.”
This four-day event drew over 100 delegates from the UK, US, Canada, and regional diaspora, creating a vibrant platform for sharing insights among St. Kitts and Nevis citizens, both locally and internationally.
The lineup of speakers included specialists from various fields such as investments, education, healthcare, technology, renewable energy, and more.
His Excellency Mr. Calvin St. Juste, Chairman of the CIU, who participated in a panel on wealth and investment strategies, commented on the conference:
“We believe that by fostering collaboration and encouraging investment from our diaspora, we can unlock new opportunities for growth, innovation, and cultural exchange. This sponsorship reflects our commitment to supporting initiatives that empower our diaspora, our investors and our citizens and enhance their contributions to the development of St. Kitts and Nevis.”
As the CIU embraces a new chapter characterised by increased accountability, professionalism, communication, governance, transparency, and sustainable leadership, it remains devoted to building partnerships both domestically and internationally.
